Sandi Chimpala is a technology and ICT writer and blogger for Techtrends Zambia and has been writing about the progressions in technology and ICT in the country and the world over for the last 5 years.
Her focus is in mobile products, the state of the internet, mobile operator progress, mobile money, technology startups and profiling players, especially women, in technology.
She is a digital rights activist that believes that technology should be used for good, should allow for freedom of expression, and that everyone regardless of their gender should have access to the products of technology like the internet.
For her work, she has previously been awarded Digital Woman of the Year at the Zambian Women of the Year awards and Best Online Technology Writer at the Airtel Media Excellence Awards.
Sandi is an alumna of the African School on Internet Governance, has a Bachelor of Science and is currently pursuing her MBA in Management Strategy.
