Jennifer Stapper

Chief of the Communications Section at UN Volunteers (Germany)

Jennifer Stapper, as Head of Communications at the United Nations Volunteers programme, has recently launched a new brand and website for the organization, and continues to grapple with the recognition of volunteering worldwide, on a daily basis. Through global media campaigns and advocacy outreach with government, academic and civil society actors, Jennifer and here team strive to make an impact on peace and development in the United Nations system through showing the value of UN Volunteers and volunteerism. Previous to joining the United Nations, Jennifer worked in communications and advocacy at Fairtrade International in Germany, Refugees International in the US and the European Migrants Forum in Belgium. Jennifer has a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Geneva, Switzerland and a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Political Thought from the University of Virginia.
