Synopsis: On the American and European markets, corporate publications experts state certain growth in the publishing houses businesses – this is where the budgets of major marketing and PR companies flow. Production of content and its delivery in various forms starts being perceived as the most effective tool of communication with customers. Besides, international expansion of transnational corporations (PepsiCo, Nycomed, DB Schenker) leads to appearance of the ‘clones’ of the original publications for the personnel, designated for the countries in which the branches of the companies function. In the context of a financially unstable situation, internal publications allow stabilization of the social tension with a maximum effect, implementing in this sense a wider mission than narrow corporate interests. The boom of the corporate publications, addressed to the personnel, which is noticeable in Russia (and these are commonly supervised by specialists responsible for HR-technologies and internal communications) is caused among other things by a necessity of adopting modern methods of management with a purpose of rising production profitability.
