Garrett Johnston was born on July 22, 1968 in Dublin (Ireland). He has degrees from Dublin University in the field of economy, and from Trinity College, Dublin in the field of international trade. From 1991 to 2003, Garrett has held managing positions in the marketing area in a number of major international corporations such as Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young, Cable & Wireless, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Alcatel and MCI WorldCom. Prior to joining JSC “MTS” in 2003-2006 Garrett worked as a General Director of Marketing in the largest Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar and he was also a consultant of the group Telenor in Norway on subjects concerning the corporate marketing strategy. Since February 2006, Garrett is working as a Director of Strategic Marketing at JSC "MTS". He has a professional experience in 13 countries across 5 continents. Garrett speaks fluently eleven languages. He is married and has a son and a daughter.
